Associate Professor Deb Mitchison

Registry Lead

Associate Professor Deb Mitchison is a clinical psychologist, researcher and educator specialising in eating disorders and body image. Her research examines the prevalence, determinants and health service use associated with eating disorders, with a focus on improving clinical care. She is the Research Lead of the TrEAT Registry.

Associate Professor Gabriella Heruc

Credentialing Lead

Associate Professor Gabriella Heruc is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and researcher with extensive experience in eating disorder treatment across inpatient, day program and outpatient settings. She is Principal Research Fellow at Western Sydney University, Co-Director of ENRG, Director of Appetite for Change and TrEAT’s Dietetic Clinic Partner Representative.

Dr Marion Roberts

Aotearoa New Zealand Lead

Dr Marion Roberts is a clinical psychologist and academic specialising in eating disorder treatment and research. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland and Clinical Director of Nurture Psychology. She leads the Aotearoa New Zealand arm of the TrEAT Registry, supporting its implementation, growth and sustainability. 

Dr Sinead Day

Postdoctoral researcher/Residential Lead

Dr Sinead Day is a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral researcher conducting national evaluation of residential treatment for eating disorders and research on the management of comorbid complex trauma. She leads the Residential Treatment Arm of the TrEAT Registry and the STEPs-ED collective of eating disorder higher levels of care. 

Dr Scott Fatt

Postdoctoral Researcher

Dr Scott Fatt is a clinical psychologist and researcher with a passion and interest in improving health outcomes for people living with mental health problems – particularly eating disorders and body image concerns. His research aims to develop innovative, evidence-based approaches to prevention, early intervention, and treatment of eating disorders and body image concerns.

Dr Katarina Prnjak

Postdoctoral Researcher/Psychometric Lead

Dr Katarina Prnjak is a postdoctoral researcher and provisional psychologist whose research focuses on the assessment of eating disorders and body image disturbance. Her work centres on developing and validating innovative psychometric tools, improving treatment monitoring, and evaluating treatment effectiveness to enhance clinical care and outcomes. Katarina is passionate about translating research into practice and advancing evidence-based approaches across eating disorder prevention, assessment, and intervention.
